Organizing an Exhibition on

Inauguration of the International Youth Exchange
Program (Zajel) Exhibition at the University
On March
15th 2010, University President, Prof.
Rami Hamdallah, and Mr. Husam Al-Dabbas, General
Director of the Public Relations at President
Mahmoud Abbas's Office in Ramallah inaugurated the
International Youth Exchange Program (Zajel) of the
Public Relations Department at the University.

To Mark the 30th Year of
its Establishment, the University Opened an Exhibition of
Photos from its Archive

In order to celebrate the university's 30th
anniversary, the Public Relations Department, in cooperation
with the university library, organized an exhibition of
photos from the university's archive. The exhibition
contained pictures of An-Najah old school as well as
pictures of sporting, cultural, political, and social events
from the university's history. The exhibition included a
number of manuscripts which were maintained by the
university library

Commemorating the 58th
Anniversary of Nakba
"We Will Be Back"
20-04-2006
On the occasion of the 58th Anniversary of the
Nakba, the Palestine Media Unit (Zajel) of the Public
Relations Department organized a one-week series of events
to commemorate the Palestinian Catastrophe (Nakba) of 1948.
The program includes an exhibition of photos and posters of
Palestinian citizens and villagers on their daily life, as
well as a portray of newspapers issued in Jafa city before
the Diaspora.

Zajel and ROOD
Organize a Palestinian Folkloric Exhibition in
Holland
In
cooperation with Rood, the youth branch of the Socialist Party in
the Netherlands, a Palestinian Folklore Exhibition was organized
from 10th April to 1st May 2005. The
program, which involved visiting four Dutch cities - Rotterdam,
Eindhoven, Groningen and Harlem - concentrated not only on
cultural exchange but also unfamiliar aspects of Palestinian
cultural heritage, history and daily life in Palestine, usually
neglected by western media. more

Looking for our Roots: An Exhibition of
Paintings
“Looking for our Roots” is the title of an exhibition that was
opened on the 21st of February by the University
President, Prof. Rami Hamdallah and organized by the Zajel Youth
Exchange Program. The artwork was provided by Maram Haniti; a
female graduate student from the Fine Arts Faculty at An-Najah
National University.

Exhibition on Korean Folklore
In
order to encourage interaction with people and cultures from
outside Palestine, and as part of its mission to offer the
possibility and opportunity for An-Najah students to experience
different ways of life, Zajel organized a Korean folklore
exhibition at the university library. This wonderful exhibition
was organized by two Koreans who had come to Nablus for this
purpose. One of them, Kim, was first introduced to Nablus and the
situation in Palestine through her participation in one of Zajel
summer work camps in 2003.

and thoughts with the west, Zajel Youth Exchange Program / Public
Relations Department organized gallery on the image of Al-Aqsa
Uprising in the American Cartoons, the mission of organizing this
gallery is to enable the university students and educators to get
an idea about the western media and its impact on public.

An Exhibition on
Palestine Memories
A Homeland Memory”

“A Homeland Memory” is the title of
the exhibition which was opened at the library hall of An-Najah
National University by the University President Prof. Rami
Hamdallah and Ali Tukan the Municipality Library Director. The goal of this exhibition is to
show the heritage and culture, roots and memories of the
Palestinian People over the past eighty years.

Evening of Peace for the Children of the
World/Japan
In cooperation with Zajel Youth Exchange Program, the Arabic
Japanese Future Society opened the exhibition of "Evening of Peace
for the children of the world" in the library of An-Najah National
